The verdict is in and the consensus is clear.

Ford is the truck king — they produce almost twice the amount of trucks as their rivals. Driving an F-150 for a week, we now know everything we need to.

In our Limited model F-150 adorned in Ruby Red metallic paint, posted up on 22-inch, 10-spoke wheels, leatherLimited embossed front seats with active cushion and seat back massagers — this isn’t your typical work truck. Heck, this isn’t your typical everyday truck, this is the pinnacle of trucks. One with superior comfort on long trips, hauling capabilities to and from destinations as well as the truck for your project manager who drives from construction site to construction site.

Our Crew Cab Limited was certainly pricey for

The Ford F-150 is America’s top-selling truck does everything you want a truck to do and makes you forget you’re driving a truck while also getting good gas mileage. the average truck, coming in at just under $75,000 but again this is not the average truck — it is the smooth riding, forgot you were in a truck but enjoy driving a truck, truck.

We felt it was necessary to take this truck to as many places as possible to get the full feel for the Truck King and boy did we. We went all over Massachusetts

from Cape Cod to Holyoke to Springfield to the Berks, up to Lowell and back to Boston in our 500+ mile drive, all while on a tank of gas. Yes, the EcoBoost 3.5 liter V-6 engine along with a 36-gallon tank allowed us to go the whole day with not a worry about stopping for gas.

The 375-hp twin-turbocharged engine offered an astounding 470 ft.-lb. of torque. Averaging over 20 mpg on our trip, we were nothing but amazed on how great the F-150 delivered for us.

Although this isn’t your average F-150 on the lot, traditional F-150s come with the SYNC 3 infotainment system that is super easy to use and navigate while endless options are available, such as automatic running boards to get in and out and multiple inside configurations. Sitting up high was also a nice perk as the Ford was easy to see out of, park and also navigate on tight roads or long stretches of highway.

Shane Bryant, general manager and vice president of Nick Nicholas Ford and a friend, said “The F-150 is by far the best truck for the consumer as not only does it satisfy the wants and completes your needs all at the same time, but it is the best-selling truck for the past 43 years in a row.”

Are you interested in a truck for your next vehicle, because Ford has this market dominated. I didn’t want to give this tester back as it really does satisfy a lot of things needed in a vehicle. I have grown up in a GMC family, but this certainly changes my outlook on things and future truck needs.
