VOTER REGISTRATI­ON: The League of Women Voters of Saratoga County will be offering a Voter Registrati­on table from 3 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at the Saratoga Farmers Market. The market is now held in the parking lot of the Wilton Mall, outside of the former Bon Ton and across from BJ’s Wholesale. Residents can learn where to find informatio­n about polling places, informatio­n about registrati­on, answers to general voting questions and pick up voter registrati­on forms.

HAMILTON PRESENTATI­ON: CANCELED Wednesday, September 2 1:30 pm. Hamilton – The Man, The Musical, The Cultural Phenomenon. Multi-media presentati­on by theater historian John Kenrick on Lin-Manuel Miranda’s blending visionary blending of hip-hop and Broadway styles to create the revolution­ary musical Hamilton. We recognize this is a great disappoint­ment to many Fairgoers, Vendors, Exhibitors, Small Businesses and our Local Community. We want you all to know we consider it a privilege and an honor to showcase the best of Rensselaer County Agricultur­eand to support all of you. We thank you for your 200 years of support. COW CHIP BINGO: Thursday, September 3, 2020, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Our annual Cow Chip Bingo is going to look slightly different this year! We are sad that we cannot experience this event in person with you. However, we plan to broadcast the live event via Zoom or Facebook Live. MOVIE IN THE PARK: The Ballston Spa Business and Profession­al Associatio­n has presented free summer events for the community for many years. This year, the COVID-19 pandemic has curtailed the full schedule of concerts and movies, but the month of August will see a return to these events under NYS guidelines. The free outdoor Movies in the Park will screen “Toy Story 4” on September 4. Movies are shown in Wiswall Park on Front Street at dusk (approximat­ely 8:30 pm). Rain dates are the following Saturday evening. Hand sanitizer will be available to the public at all events. These events are contingent on public gathering restrictio­ns currently in place. These events are free to the public. Social distancing measures, face masks and limited capacity in the parks for concert and movie spectators are required and will be followed. Event safety plans are posted on the concert and movie webpages on Ballston.org.

CHICKEN BBQ: St. Therese Chapel in Gansevoort will hold their annual Chicken BBQ on Sunday, Sept 6, from 11:00 – 4:00 PM. Take Out Only. Dinners include half a chicken for an adult and a quarter of a chicken for children, corn on the cob, baked potato, coleslaw, and a dessert. Dinners $12. The Chapel is located at the intersecti­on of RT 32 and Gansevoort-Wilton Rd. For Take outs Call 518792-2276.
