CDTA opens the door on employee health center, powered by CDPHP
CDTA employees have a new way to the see the doctor.
Go to work! CDTA has opened the doors to the CDTA Health Center, powered by CDPHP, which will provide employees with a convenient option to keep up on their health and wellness.
“This is an exciting step forward for CDTA,” Carm Basile, CDTA CEO said.
“Offering our work force a onestop shop for their health needs and concerns not only helps to give the employee more control over their own health, but also helps CDTA tomanage costs and increase productivity,” Basile explained.
The CDTAHealthCenter, powered by CDPHP, will provide employees with a convenient option to keep up on their health and wellness. The center will offer employment-based physicals and screenings, treatment for minor illness and injury, health counseling, flu shots, and more.
“It is widely recognize that a strong, healthy workforce ismore productive, has a higher rates of employee satisfaction, and lower absenteeism,” Dr. John Bennett, CDPHP President and CEO remarked.
“The CDTA Health Center, powered by CDPHP, will improve employees’ access to care by providing critical services at a time and place that’s convenient for hard-working people,” Bennett noted.
Following the model from the employee health center at Precision Valve Automation in Cohoes, CDTA is one of several organization in in the Capital Region to offer a service like this to its employees.
