HAUNTED SARATOGA GHOST TOUR: Come walk with us and discover the ghosts of Haunted Saratoga. Hear the stories that have lived on in our city for hundreds of years. They will enchant, entertain and perhaps even scare you. Our 90-minute long walking tour will take you in search of the countless ghosts rumored to haunt the city. Total walking distance is less than a mile, covered at a very leisurely pace so that you can enjoy Saratoga’s many infamous ghosts and haunted locations. We are very respectful of the spirits we will encounter along the way. You will hear about and perhaps even meet Old Smoke who, it is said, haunts the old Canfield Casino, Angeline, known as the Witch of Saratoga, Hattie, who has been known to make appearance­s in her restaurant since her passing and several other spirits.To book a time slot, visit hauntedsar­atogatours.com.

PUMPKIN GLOW & LIGHT SHOW: Ellms Family Farm is launching a new fall themed attraction. The Pumpkin Glow & Light Show Drive-Thru is an enchanting Halloween experience that features a pumpkin wonderland with thousands of hand carved illuminate­d jack o’lanterns. Guests are invited to be immersed in the magic from the safety and comfort of their own vehicle. The Drive-Thru experience boasts single pumpkin carvings to larger than life dazzling light displays. Ellms Family Farm has partnered with master carvers that are bringing all of the Halloween spirit to life. In addition to marveling at the masterpiec­es created by talented artists, guests will have the opportunit­y to be able to enjoy all the Ellms Farms fall snacks they know and love, by preselecti­ng and prepaying for tasty fall themed treats, food & beverages, again to be enjoyed from your vehicle. This attraction is open from 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday from Oct. 1 to Nov. 8 at Ellms Family Farm, located at 448 Charlton Rd., Ballston Spa. HOLLOWED HARVEST: ‘ The Hollowed Harvest’ will feature 7,000 incredible Jack-O’-Lanterns creating stunning landscapes and largerthan-life displays, some towering as tall as 3 stories, and spanning more than 60 feet in length! The Hollowed Harvest is scheduled to open September 25th at 6 p.m. at the Altamont Fairground­s and will continue Thursday through Sunday of each week through the beginning of November with additional dates added the week of Halloween. Show dates and ticket informatio­n are available on the web at HollowedHa­rvest.com. From dinosaurs to zombies, sea creatures to medieval castles, all made out of Jack- O’-Lanterns, you won’t believe what you’re going to see at the Hollowed Harvest! To create a safe event, the Hollowed Harvest has limited time slots to reduce the number of guests admiring the show at one time and has coordinate­d with town police to enact a COVID safety plan in which guests must also wear face masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines. In a year of cancellati­ons, you can count on the Hollowed Harvest to save Halloween. Monday, Nov. 2

AUXILIARY MEETING: American Legion Auxiliary Unit 234 will hold their monthly meeting on Monday, Nov. 2. The meeting will be held at the Post home on 23 Pleasant Street, Ballston Spa, at 7:00 pm. Wearing masks and social distancing will be encouraged. Because of the Covid 19 Pandemic, the annual Halloween party for the community children has been cancelled.

ELECTION DAY CHILI MEAL: The Malta Ridge United Methodist Church Election Day Chili Meal is back, on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at the Church located at 729 Malta Avenue Extension, in Malta Ridge. The menu will feature chili, roll, and cookie for dessert. Drive by— Takeout only is available from 11:30amto 5:00pm. Donation is $8.00. CHICKEN & BISCUIT DINNER AND PIE SALE: Middle Grove United Methodist Church Election Day Chicken& Biscuit Dinner and Pie Sale - Tues Nov 3 - 4-7pm. BASKET RAFFLE FUNDRAISER: The West Charlton Fire Dept. Auxiliary will host a basket raffle fundraiser at the West Charlton fire house (1293 Eastern Avenue) on Election Day, November 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Multiple baskets will be available. Tickets are 6 for $5.

TAKEOUT ITALIAN NIGHT: Knights of Columbus #246, 50 Pine Rd, Saratoga Springs, will be hosting a Fundraiser Takeout Italian Night on Friday, November 6th, from 5:00-7:30. On the menu will be your choice of either Lasagna or Chicken Cacciatore at a cost of 2 Dinners for $30.00, either the same or one of each.
