For the 15th consecutiv­e year, Hoffman Car Wash and Hoffman Jiffy Lube will show appreciati­on to the men and women who serve the United States of America. On Wednesday, November 11th, all active and retired military personnel will receive a free car wash at any of the 17Exterior or Full Service Hoffman Car Wash locations. Additional­ly, all military members can receive a $9.99Hoffman Jiffy Lube Signature Service Oil Change. Military personnel are not required to present ID; the event will be run on the honor system. VETERANS BALL: An Evening with and for our Veterans, hosted by the Veterans & Community Housing Coalition in place of their annual Veterans Ball fundraiser. The program will be streamed live from Caffe Lena at 7p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, and will include performanc­es by regional musicians, stories fromthe community, a tour of the Military Museum, and more! This event has helped us raise the necessary funds to provide extensive service to our homeless veterans. Caffe Lena has graciously offered to host a live event for VCHC to honor our Veterans and raise the needed funds for our programs. We hope to build on our past success with this year’s special event so that we may continue to serve the homeless veterans in our community. Like so many not for profit organizati­ons, the pandemic has had a devastatin­g effect on our organizati­on and the brave women and men we serve. This is a great opportunit­y to enjoy an Autumn walk on the trails at Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park!
