Jami joins Saratoga Hospital Medical Group’s Inpatient Medicine team

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. » Dr. Humaira Jami recently joined Saratoga Hospital Medical Group’s Inpatient Medicine team of more than 30 medical profession­als who provide 24/7 care for patients during their hospital stay.

As an inpatient medicine physician, or hospitalis­t, Jami focuses exclusivel­y on hospitaliz­ed patients, overseeing all aspects of their care andworking closely with specialist­s to diagnose and treat an array of diseases and conditions.

“We have built an inpatient medicine practice that combines exceptiona­l diagnostic skills, an unwavering commitment to quality, and sensitivit­y to the concerns of seriously ill patients and their families,” Dr. J. Robert Hayes Jr., chief of inpatient medicine at Saratoga Hospital, said in a press release. “Dr. Jami is an excellent fit and wonderful addition to this team.”

Jami comes to Saratoga-Hospital from North Shore Medical Center in Salem, Mass. She earned her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C., and completed an internship and residency at the University of California San Diego Medical Center.

Board certified in internal medicine, Jami said she chose Saratoga Hospital for its core values and interdisci­plinary, collaborat­ive approach.
