HAROLD PAUL JOSEPH

GREENFIELD CENTER-Harold Paul Joseph, age 97, of Greenfield Center, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Wells Nursing Home, Inc., Johnstown, following a short illness. Born on May 27, 1923 in Gloversville, he was a son of the late Joe Joseph, Senior and Henrietta Branch Joseph. Harold was employed at the International Paper Company in Corinth for 27 years and retired in 1990. He was a former member of the Greenfield Center Fire Department, Greenfield Senior Citizens, and the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Greenfield Center. Survivors include his nieces, Jean Jones, Paula Tucker, Jeannette Joseph, Patricia Apicella, Donna Dumar, Linda Zilka, and Marie Wojeski; nephews, Paul D. Joseph, Joseph Henkel, Larry Henkel, George Henkel, Kenneth Joseph, Brian Henkel, and Kenneth Goodbread. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife Mary Zilka; brothers, Vernard Joseph, Joe Joseph Jr., and Kenneth Joseph; sisters, Alice Joseph Henkel, and Shirley Joseph Goodbread; niece, Barbara Cutry. A Graveside service will be held in the spring at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Johnstown. The family wishes to thank Paul’s special friend Tom Cronin and the staff of the Wells Nursing Home for their loving care and devotion.
