PAULETTE BENSON-CAGE

Paulette A. Benson-Cage a lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs, passed away peacefully with her family present at her home. She was 68 years old. Born on May 31, 1952, in Saratoga Springs, NY, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Milner Benson and Robert Benson Sr.

Mrs. Benson- Cage worked as a chambermaid for many years at the Turf and Spa Motel in Saratoga Springs. Paulette was a dedicated mother and grandmother and she loved spending time with them and hosting many family parties. In her leisure she enjoyed watching soap operas, shopping, playing bingo, and attended the Saratoga Race Track.

She is predeceased by her husband Edward Cage Sr., who passed away in 2005. She is also pre-deceased by her son Edward Cage Jr.

Survivors include her son, Clifton Cage of Saratoga Springs, NY, a daughter, Audrey Cage of Mayeld, NY, Daughter in law Heather Cage, three sisters, Dorothy Barrett of Glens Falls, NY, Virginia Coon and her husband Rob of Glens Falls, NY, and Allison Akins of Middle Grove, NY and her husband Douglas, a brother Robert Benson and his wife Beverly and Chuck Benson both of Saratoga Springs, NY, her signicant other Maurice Rhodes and 9 grandchildren, Katrayla, Juliana, Riley, Tyler, Justyna, Kiara, Gretchen, Clifton Jr and Noah. Family and Friends may call from 5-7 pm on Monday at the Tunison Funeral Home 105 Lake Ave. Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. A funeral service will be held at 7pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the springs at Greenridge Cemetery with her husband.
