Van-damonium: Usability galore with Chrysler’s AWD Pacifica

- By Marc Grasso MediaNews Group

“Hey Marc, I need a favor, can you help?”

“Sure, what do you need?”

“I need you to run to the airport and pick up my six friends who are flying in, and take them to my offthe-grid cabin in the Hudson Valley, can you help me?”

“Sure, but I need a big vehicle with tons of storage and space, all-wheel drive for all the snow they got recently and exceptional comfort for the long haul.”

True story, and fortunately for me, I had Chrysler’s 2021 Pacifica with allwheel drive.

The Pacifica AWD had no issue in the near 6 inches of packed snow, en route up the Peekamoose Mountain in scenic Hudson Valley. It was a hike, but comfort and ride were not diminished.

The Pacifica AWD shone, with heated second-row captains chairs and a gorgeous infotainment system in the Theater family group package ($2,495), which came with wireless headphones, a DVD player with USB port, video remote controls, media hubs (HDMI, USB), seatback video screens and FamCam interior camera.

The “S” appearance package ($295) included bodycolor mirrors and door handles, black gloss grille and piano-black interior accent stitching. But wait, there’s more: an 18-speaker Harman Kardon system with amplifier, a 360 surroundview camera and Parksense safety features.

Our Velvet Red Limited Pacifica AWD stood out in the mountain backdrop, as the deep red really impressed in the snowy setting.

We reached out to our Chrysler sales guru, Christy Friedrichs of L.T. Begnal Motors in Kingston, N.Y., for her take on the new Pacifica AWD. “Customers love the appeal and usage of the Pacifica AWD, it really suits every family’s needs when looking for a vehicle in 2021,” Friedrichs said.

According to CarBuzz, the 2021 model received 140 honors and industry accolades, the most awarded to any minivan over the last four years. Pretty impressive.

In the automobile industry, there are so many choices to choose from that exhaustion could actually set in when you are in the market for a new vehicle. Not only are consumers trying to find the right vehicle to satisfy needs for today, but also for the future. With the Pacifica AWD, this family wagon now suits every family need that you can imagine.
