Saratoga Springs-Chris was born January 4th, 1989 in Albany NY and died at his Saratoga Springs NY home on July 2, 2021. He was 32 years old at the time of his death. Chris enjoyed traveling. He excelled at Ice Hockey. Chris played both Saratoga Youth Hockey and Varsity Hockey for Saratoga Springs High School. A natural athlete, Chris played baseball, soccer, football, track and lacrosse. He graduated Saratoga Springs High School class of 2007. Chris attended SUNY Potsdam. Chris loved to read and learn about the world around him. There wasn’t a subject he didn’t know something about and was always willing to have a spirited discussion. He loved to go to the movies, workout, and throw the frisbee. He had a love for live music and going to SPAC. His music tastes ranged across all genres. Chris left this world prematurel­y with a deep, unfilled void and the immense sadness that goes with the passing of a young man with so much unrealized potential. Chris was predecease­d by his mother Jacqueline Schult, his paternal grandparen­ts Charles V. Schult and Elizabeth P. Schult and Maternal grandparen­ts Dewey and Grace Budwick. Chris is survived by his father Peter Schult and brothers Charles Schult (wife Christel), Brian Schult and niece Eleonore Elizabeth Schult and many aunts and uncles cousins and nieces and nephews. He will be missed. Services will be private. Arrangemen­ts are by the Gleason Funeral Home, Schenectad­y.
