Ballston Spa Farmers’ Market moving to Wiswall Park

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. >> The Saturday Ballston Spa Farmers’ Market is relocating to Wiswall Park on Front Street in downtown Ballston Spa, starting on Aug. 7. Market hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The market has been previously set up on the grounds of the historic Brookside Museum, 6 Charlton Street in the village. The move will bring the market back to its original home in the center of the business district. The Thursday afternoon Farmers’ Market, open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., will remain at Brookside Museum and take advantage of the museum’s Thursday open hours as well as proximity to Iron Spring Park and the Thursday evening summer concerts. Both markets will be open through the end of September and have been serving the local community since 2003, offering fresh produce and farm products from local family farms, along with baked and crafted goods, spices, and pet treats.

Saturday market vendors include Abbas Acres, My Other Garden, Jacob’s Farm, Paper Dragon Farm, Wildhaven Bakery & Farm, Cravin’ Cookies, Happy Things, Saratoga Garlic Company, Sweety Pea’s Flower Farm, Touareuna Farm, The White Falcon Soapery, Gneiss Spice & Eggs, Bethy’s Barkery, The Charlton Artisanal, and Jesseatswell. Thursday market vendors include My Other Garden, Carpenter Landscaping & Farm, Bare Roots Family Farm, Heavenly Confections, Paper Dragon Farm, Happy Things, Saratoga Garlic Company, Touareuna Farm, Bethy’s Barkery, and Jesseatswell.

The markets are presented by the Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association, with sponsorship support from our “Friends of the Farmers” Boho Chic Boutique, Burlingame Orthodontics, Curtis Lumber, Iron Roost, Ballston Area Recreation Commission, Jumper Bean Day Care & Pre-School, Ballston Spa National Bank and My Other Garden.
