SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. >> As Lindsey Stirling makes her way across the states on the Artemis Tour, she’s stealing the hearts of audiences all across America.

During her stop at Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Monday night, some fans knew vaguely what to expect from the dancing dubstep violinist — as seen on both America’s Got Talent and Dancing with the Stars — but for first-time viewers, her live show was nothing short of spectacular.

From pirate adventures to futuristic drama to aerial acrobatics — the Artemis Tour has it all.

What makes the performance really shine is that Stirling seems to truly enjoy every minute of it.

In the brief moments that she stood still behind a microphone, Stirling shared heartfelt personal sentiments that heightened her likeability.

“I believe big time in big dreams,” the 34-year-old told the SPAC crowd, giving a glimpse into how a girl from Gilbert, Arizona managed to manifest her wildest dreams into existence — and into a career.

“I just want you to know that there’s nothing you can’t do if you can believe in yourselves and that your dreams are still possible,” she continued before jumping into a Disney medley that included the Cinderella song “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.”

Highlights of Stirling’s 90-minute headlining set were “Love Goes On and On” featuring vocals by Amy Lee of Evanescence and her latest single “Masquerade” off of Artemis, along with a mash-up of “Roundtable Rival” and “Don’t Let This Feeling Fade” from her previous releases.

Stirling ended the night with an encore of “Guardian,” leaving the Spa City on a bright note.

From start to finish, Stirling’s show was extraordinarily creative. Her unique sound, paired with visually stimulating theatrics, made for an all-around fascinating production.

In a world where attention spans are getting shorter and shorter, Stirling and her crew have found a way to capture the minds of concertgoers for a full evening of abounding entertainment.

It’s a near-impossible feat in today’s age, but Stirling is no stranger to achieving the impossible.

Best of all, she’s humble about it. “I can’t even tell you what it means to be on this stage,” she said, addressing the year-long postponement of this tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On returning to the spotlight and simply getting to experience being together again, Stirling said, “It’s very magical.”
