PRINCIPLES, PHILOSOPHY AND ORGANIZATION OF HS ATHLETICS: Two of the courses required to coach in New York State high schools Principles, Philosophy and Organization of High School Athletics and Theories and Techniques of Coaching and will be taught in August in Saratoga at Saratoga Catholic Central High School, 247Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Classes run Saturday, August 14and Sunday, August 15. Participants must attend all class sessions listed in order to complete the course. The classes will run from 7a.m. to 5p.m. The cost is $225if registered prior to July 20; $275 if registered after July 20. Tuition fees are nonrefundable but can be applied to future classes. CAPITALLAND BOYS SUMMER LACROSSE: Capitalland summer lacrosse programs will be starting June 29and go through mid-August with half day camps and evening programs. Our programs are open to all beginners, novice, and advanced skilled players in grades K—10throughout the capital district at a fraction of the cost of other local programs. Our staff includes some of the finest past and present coaches in the capital district. Our summer lineup includes: Tuesday evening lacrosse programs, June 29— August 3; Day camps, 9am to noon on July 12—16and July 19-23; Night camp, 6pm to 8 pm August 2—6. In each of our programs we will have the following age and skill levels: 5th—9th grade advanced skills Coach Corner; 5th—10th grade novice skill program; 5th—10th grade beginner skill program; 2nd—4th grade full equipment program for all levels of players; A co-ed grades k—5th non-contact learn to play program.
