Upcoming COVID-19 vaccinatio­n schedule announced

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. » Saratoga County is holding the following COVID-19 booster and first dose vaccinatio­n clinics at Saratoga County Public Health at 6012 County Farm Road, Ballston Spa:

• Tuesday, Jan. 18: Pfizer booster, 9 a.m. to noon for ages 12+

• Wednesday, Jan. 19: Moderna booster, 9 a.m. to noon for ages 18+

• Friday, Jan. 21: Pfizer booster, 9 a.m. to noon for ages 12+

• Friday, Jan. 21: First dose Pfizer, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for ages five to 11

Important informatio­n regarding clinics: The vaccines are free. No proof of insurance is required. Registrati­on is preferred and strongly recommende­d. Limited, same-day walk-in appointmen­ts will also be available.

Pfizer booster clinics are for those individual­s 12 years of age and older. To be eligible for this clinic, persons must have received their second dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least five months ago or their Johnson and Johnson vaccine at least two months ago.

Pfizer COVID-19 first dose and booster vaccinatio­n clinics include K12 students who reside in Saratoga County or attend a school located in Saratoga County. The child to be vaccinated should be accompanie­d by their parent or guardian. If the child is unaccompan­ied by their parent or guardian (for example, accompanie­d by a grandparen­t), a written consent form signed by the parent or guardian must be available at the time of the minor’s vaccinatio­n.
