Kyle Magne State Farm celebrates opening of new Spa City location
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. » Kyle Magne recently celebrated the opening of his new State Farm agency.
To mark the opening of Magne’s State Farm agency, Magne hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening event at the new agency’s office located on 120 West Ave. Suite 102. People gathered from all over the Capital Region to congratulate Magne on the opening of his new State Farm agency from his friends and family to various leaders from across the capital region.
Kyle Magne, owner of the new State Farm agency, had started working in insurance with State Farm in 2011 on the claims side of insurance and he wished to further help more people and their families with their insurance needs by opening up his own agency office.
Magne is originally from Long Island, N.Y., but moved to Saratoga Springs with his wife and fell in love with the Capital Region and wanted to become a bigger part of the community. He hopes to help people in the area with both their insurance needs and educating them on insurance as a whole.
Magne, when speaking about how he started working in insurance, said, “Working in claims, it’s amazing because you’re helping people, sometimes in the worst moments of their lives and you’re making a connection with them and then they’re gone. Hopefully, they don’t ever have to speak to you again.”

Magne then went on to say, “I wanted to make deep relationships with the community and I have an insurance background so it made sense and it was a good fit to go to an agency where I can protect families and educate people on insurance.”
One of the big reasons Magne opened the new State Farm agency was to further help families and individuals when it comes to educating them on insurance and making an insurance policy that fits the individual needs of the family or individual. Magne stated, “Insurance isn’t one size fits all. It should be customized to meet the individual needs of the individual or the family. To me, the education piece is huge.
“I’ve been in leadership for the last six years and developing people, educating claims handlers is huge and bringing that to the community is really our goal here. People spend their hard-earned dollars on insurance and a lot of people that I sit down with and ask, they don’t know what they have.
“They know they have it, everyone needs insurance, but they don’t know exactly what they have and to me, it’s important that people know and that they’re properly protected so that when the worst does happen, you can help them recover and they’re fully protected.”
Magne was congratulated by leaders from the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce and the Capital Region Chamber at the ribbon-cutting, as well as a representative from the office of Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner (D-Round Lake), and state Sen. Daphne Jordan (R,C,IHalfmoon), and Saratoga Springs Mayor Ron Kim.
