Six charged in illegal possession and sales of firearms

SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. » The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit recently arrested six area suspects following a lengthy investigat­ion into the possession and sales of firearms within the county.

Police arrested Michael S. Andrews, 25, Saratoga County Jail; Johnathon M. Parker, 29, of Hudson Falls; Jeffrey R. Bishop, 30, of Saratoga Springs; Patricia J. Show, 39, of Saratoga Springs; Teanna L. Gonzalez, 31, of Saratoga Springs; and Maggie L. Hayes, 27, of Ballston Spa.

They are accused of the possession and sale of firearms within the city of Saratoga Springs and the town of Milton. As a result of the investigat­ion two handguns, and multiple magazines, including a 30-round capacity magazine were seized.

Andrews was charged with two counts of felony third-degree criminal sale of a weapon, two counts of felony criminal possession of a firearm, two counts of felony thirddegre­e criminal possession of a weapon, felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of misdemeano­r fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and misdemeano­r fifth-degree conspiracy.

He was arraigned in Town of Milton Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail due to appear in the Saratoga Springs City Court and Milton Town Court at a later date.

Parker was charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felony criminal possession of a firearm, misdemeano­r fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and misdemeano­r fifth-degree conspiracy.

He was arraigned in Town of Milton Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail on $2,500.00 cash, $5,000.00 bond and $10,000.00 partially secured bond, due to appear in the Saratoga Springs City Court at a later date.

Bishop was charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felony third-degree criminal sale of a weapon, felony criminal possession of a firearm, misdemeano­r fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and misdemeano­r fifth-degree conspiracy.

Bishop was arraigned in Saratoga Springs City Court and released to Pre-Trial Services due to appear in the Saratoga Springs City Court at a later date.

Show was charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felony third-degree criminal sale of a weapon, felony criminal possession of a firearm, misdemeano­r fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and misdemeano­r fifth-degree conspiracy.

She was arraigned in Saratoga Springs City Court and released to Pre-Trial Services due to appear in the Saratoga Springs City Court at a later date.

Gonzalez was charged with felony third-degree criminal sale of a weapon, felony thirddegre­e criminal possession of a weapon, felony criminal possession of a firearm, misdemeano­r fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and misdemeano­r fifth-degree conspiracy.

She was arraigned in Saratoga Springs City Court and released to Pre-Trial Services due to appear in the Saratoga Springs City Court at a later date.

Hayes was charged with felony criminal possession of a firearm, and misdemeano­r fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. She was arraigned in Town of Milton Court and released upon her own recognizan­ce due to appear in the Town of Milton Court at a later date.
