Three arrested on drug charges following traffic stop
New York State Police recently arrested Tyler J. Nash of Milton, for fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Brendan J. Pulica of Warrensburg, and Andrea M. Stewart of Glens Falls, were each arrested for three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
According to police, Troopers stopped a vehicle on State Route 9 in Moreau, for a traffic infraction. The driver was identified as Nash, 26, and it was determined he did not have a valid driver’s license. Pulica, 38, and Stewart, 36, who were passengers in the vehicle, both had warrants for their arrests. Nash was found to possess multiple controlled substances, including cocaine.
Pulica and Stewart also possessed controlled substances and other drug paraphernalia.
All parties were transported to State Police barracks in Wilton for processing. Nash was arraigned at the Moreau Town Court and released on his own recognizance. Pulica and Stewart were issued appearance tickets returnable to the Moreau Town Court on March 22. Stewart was turned over to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office for the outstanding warrant.
Pulica was transported to State Police barracks in Greenwich, where he was processed and charged with thirddegree bail jumping related to a warrant issued by the Fort Edward Town Court where he failed to appear in Noember 2022. Pulica was arraigned at the Washington County Arraignment Part Court and remanded to the Washington County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
