The fourth annual Mystic Krewe of Liberi Ball was held Feb. 18 in the Hamp Williams Building. This year, Scott Smith was named king and Susan Harper queen, chosen from a court of six couples including Joey and Mayra Godoy, Chappy and Susan Harper, John and Jordan Horner, Mike and Michelle Ratcliff, Scott and Sherry Smith, and Greg and Amy Whorton. David and Rachel Mangan served as honorary chairs. The fundraising event is held to support Ouachita Children’s Center, and guests were treated to a Mardi Gras dinner, King Cake dessert, dancing, a silent auction, additional entertainment including a juggler and mime, and palm readings by Madame Zaheera.
