Arnethia Berry Tucker, age 88, of Hot Springs, died Monday, Aug. 10, 2015. She was born Jan. 22, 1927, in Emerson, Ark., to the late Lannie and Daisy Robinson Berry. She was also predecease­d by her siblings, Opal, Ivory May, Ellonia, Lannie “L. B.,” Archie and Retha Mae; three children, Ruthie Lee, Theodore and Andrew Wayne Tucker; two grandchild­ren, Ledell Tucker Jr. and Aniko Bryant. She was a faithful member of St. Mark Baptist Church. Arnethia retired from the health care field, having worked for several nursing homes, hospitals and private homes.

Survivors include her children, Dorothy ( Paul) Thompson, of Hot Springs, Barbara ( George) McDaniel, of Trumann, Ledell ( Linda) Tucker and Michael ( Rhonda) Tucker, all of Seneca, S. C.; daughter- inlaw, Betty Young; 10 grandchild­ren, 26 great- grandchild­ren, four great- great- grandchild­ren; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family; special friends, Charlotte Anderson, the Erby family and Robin Higgins.

Funeral service will be 11 a. m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at St. Mark Baptist Church, 542 Crescent Ave., with the Rev. Donald R. Crossley Sr. officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5- 7 p. m. Friday at the funeral home. The family will be at 931 Malvern Ave. Guest registry is at http://www.carriganme­morial.com.
