Magic Springs & Crystal Falls will finish out its concert season in August with Candlebox and Blues Traveler.

The water and theme park will also honor active and retired military, law enforcement, firefighters and emergency medical technicians with free admission for the month of August. Official identification is required.

Candlebox will take the Timberwood Amphitheater stage at 8 p.m. Aug. 6. The American rock band from Seattle has released five studio albums since its formation in 1990, all of which have achieved multiplatinum and gold certification. The band’s hit singles include “Far Behind” and “You” from its self-titled album, which was certified platinum by the RIAA four times. Its most recent album, “Disappearing in Airports,” was released in April.

Blues Traveler will perform at Timberwood Amphitheater at 8 p.m. Aug. 13. The group is a Grammy Award-winning rock band. Since its formation in 1987, it has released 12 albums and several singles, including Top 40 singles “Run-Around” and “Hook.” Its most recent album, “Blow Up the Moon,” was released in April 2015. Every track on the album was recorded as collaboration, and guests on the album include Plain White T’s, Bowling for Soup and Thompson Square.

All concerts are included with season pass or general admission tickets, with free lawn seating on a first-come, firstserved basis.

“We aimed to include musical acts in our concert series this year that cater to all genres and audiences and really tried to include some big names in the mix,” said Steve Honeycutt, general manager at Magic Springs & Crystal Falls. “We’re thrilled for Candlebox and Blues Traveler to take the Timberwood Amphitheater stage to finish out the season, and we’re glad to honor our community heroes this month at the park with free admission.”

The park will host a “Wild Card Week” Aug. 1-8, during which season pass holders will be able to bring a guest for $14.99. Aug. 8-10 they will offer a “carload special” for $49.99. It is one person per seat belt with a six-person per car maximum.
