Chandler E. Dickerson

Chandler Eugene Dickerson, 18, of Hot Springs, died Aug. 8, 2016.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Andrew Gonzalez officiating. which was the center of her love. She enjoyed doing many crafts and making them for family and friends, but she dearly loved word puzzles. Margie was an avid reader and liked raising a garden, which, if you spoke to Lee, she enjoyed him working it, and she loved cooking; she was a wonderful cook and loved cooking for everyone.

She is survived by her five sons, Lee and Irma Shelton, of Hot Springs, Ernest Smallwood, of Pencil Bluff, Randal Smallwood, of Plantersville, Texas, Ricky and Heidi Smallwood, of Nashville, Tenn., and Jody Smallwood and Tova Thompson, of Hot Springs; her two daughters, Elaine Johnson and Junior Starr, of Mountain Pine, and Maurita and Michael McClard, of Apache, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of longtime friends.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home chapel, Hot Springs, with Brother Joe Thompson officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m., prior to service.

Interment will be in the Hughes Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Pallbearers will be David Shelton, Mark Shelton, Joshua Smallwood, Jesse Smallwood, Taylor Smallwood, Greg McClard, Nicholas Brookshire and Randy Crossett.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Timothy Webb, staff of Dierkson Hospice and staff of Village Springs Health and Rehabilitation.
