LONSDALE — Henrietta M. (Tillery) White, 96, of Lonsdale, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 6, 2016. She was born March 21, 1920, in Lonsdale, to Joseph David and Winnie Myrtle Tillery. Henrietta was a devoted member of Park Place Baptist Church. She was affectiona­tely known as the “Mayor of Middle Fork” and the go-to historian for the people in her community. Henrietta was a classic beauty, always dressed to perfection with her hair perfectly done.

She is predecease­d by her parents, husband, T.N. Bob White, brothers, Dock Tillery, Cecil Tillery and Douglas Tillery.

Loving survivors include son, Thomas N. (Lois) White, of Hot Springs; sisters, Fern Rusher and Mary Jo (Stanley) Dodd, of Hot Springs; grandson, Tommy Newton (Tammie) White, of Lonsdale; grandson, Joe Bob White, of Hot Springs; her precious great-grandchild­ren, Brayden Renee White and Garrett Newton White; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Brother Jim Freeman officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery, Lonsdale.

Pallbearer­s are Allen Tillery, Walter Dodd, Howard Rusher, Glen Hickey, Tommy Newton White, Joe Bob White, Garrett Newton White and Frank Thomason. Honorary pallbearer­s are Charlie Baldwin, Kenney Talbert, J.J. Hickey, Dwight Hickey, Stanley Dodd and Ralph Tillery.
