Crystal Chimes Chorus concert tickets available

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Crystal Chimes Chorus members have been hard at work all summer preparing for what promises to be an outstanding evening of entertainment, laughs and maybe even a few tears when they take to the stage at 7 p.m. Sept. 17 in Woodlands Auditorium for the “Sing Your Dreams” concert.

The first act of this year’s show will feature the journey of one aspiring a cappella barbershop performer to become a Crystal Chimes Chorus singer — and what a journey it is. In the second act, the audience will be treated to a musical tribute to God and country, sharing the blessings of who are fortunate to live in America.

In addition to the hours of preparation chorus members have devoted individually and by working on numerous committees, special recognition goes out to CCC Director Margaret Kresse and Assistant Director Anne Bowes, as they have offered both leadership and unfailing support.

The chorus is also indebted to spouses, special friends and technical experts who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Regarding those efforts, Joy Dressler, the show’s co-chair, said in a news release, “We all want our audiences to experience truly professional quality performances, and it takes a lot of expertise, man hours and elbow grease to bring that to the Woodlands stage.”

Tickets are $12, and can be purchased online at http://www.hsvticketsales.com, from any CCC member, or by calling Joan Voeks at 501-915-8073.

All seats are general admission, so arriving early is suggested. Beverage service at the bar will be open before the concert begins.
