The destruction at Benghazi was caused by a mortar attack, not a bomb. I have seen reports claiming that a backup force was available, but not deployed, and that that force might have been able to save the ambassador’s life. I don’t think the American public will ever have all the facts about this incident, but we know it wasn’t an embassy destroyed by a bomb.

Whatever we have to say about it, when the truth is known, it should be reported accurately.
