Tickets available for Altrusa fundraiser

The Finances Committee met recently to finalize plans for the Altrusa International of Hot Springs Village, Ark., Inc. fall fundraiser. The Altrusa, Fun and Food event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 13 at Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church, 700 Balearic Rd, Hot Springs Village. Tickets are $15 per person and are available from any Altrusa member or by calling Sue Spurgin at 817-239-1439.

The luncheon and game day will have door prizes, a silent auction and entertainment provided by the Hot Springs Village Strings. The fundraiser supports the 4.0 Luncheon and Scholarship project, plus other local service projects provided by Altrusa.
