HSACF Board adds new members
The Hot Springs Area Community Foundation recently added three new members to its board.
“Each new member brings expertise in different areas to the foundation,” HSACF said in a news release announcing the appointments. The new members are: • Jared Zeiser, principal adviser at Zeiser Wealth Management LLC. Zeiser participates as a mentor in the Getting Ahead Program at Cooperative Christian Ministries and Clinic, is the vice president of the Hot Springs National Park Rotary Club, a member of the Finance Committee at Mid-America Science Museum, and an elder at Hope Church PCA.
• Mike Hernandez, superintendent of the Hot Springs School District. He is affiliated with the Garland County United Way, Universal Service Administration, Mid-America Science Museum, Dawson Education Cooperative, and the Arkansas Association of School Administrators.
• Ruth Smith, who has extensive expertise in grant writing. She is currently a southwest Arkansas workforce engagement administrator for the American Red Cross.
“The Arkansas Community Foundation has spent 40 years helping Arkansans protect, grow and direct their charitable dollars. The Hot Springs Area Community Foundation is one of 27 affiliates in Arkansas. Since 1991, the HSACF has granted over 9.7 million dollars to worthwhile projects in Garland County,” the release said.
“The grants and assets of the HSACF continue to grow thanks to the generations of donors who have entrusted their charitable giving dollars to the foundation as a part of our family of philanthropy,” it said.
