Nancy Ann Covey, 73, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Oct. 22, 2016. She was born May 17, 1943, in Mountain Pine, Ark., to the late Clarence and Edna (Moore) Crutchfiel­d.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; and grandson, Jordan Covey.

Survivors include her husband, Clayton Monroe Covey Sr.; sons, Clayton M. Covey Jr. (Ronnie), Joshua Covey (Jessica); daughters, Lodena Walker (Ragan), Ramona Miles (Tommy); sister, Joyce Hammock (Henry); grandchild­ren, Eli Walker, Ashley Swedelius, Kyle Walker, Destiny, Emmalee and Gage Covey, Steven Turney, Courtney Pate, Brandi Miles, Dylan Crump, Taylor Covey; five great-grandchild­ren; several nieces, nephews and “extra kids,” Eric Wilhite, Clay Wells and Robert Hopper

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebratio­n of Nancy’s life will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home chapel with Brother Joe Thompson officiatin­g.

Burial will follow at New Cedar Glades Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to friends, Willie Jo Wright, Juanita McElroy, Bob and Theda Smallwood.

Pallbearer­s are Eric Wilhite, Clay Wells, Robert Hopper, Eli Walker, Dylan Crump and Ricky Kelley.

Honorary pallbearer­s include the employees at Arkansas Hospice and the employees at Arkansas State Park System.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
