HSU Showband to present concert

Henderson State University’s Showband of Arkansas will perform music from its 2016 halftime productions at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Arkansas Hall’s auditorium.

The band will also play some of its popular stand tunes and traditional favorites, a news release said.

The halftime performances featured rock and roll music, including “Hound Dog,” “Johnny B. Goode,” “Hey Jude,” “Paint it Black,” “Proud Mary,” “Black Dog/Kashmir” and “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

The concert is free and open to the public.
