Elks Lodge hosts memorial program

The Grand Lodge of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has decreed that the first Sunday in December of each year shall be set aside by all Elks lodges as a day of remembrance to honor its members who have died during the past year.

Hot Springs Elks Lodge 380, 132 Abbott Place, will host a memorial program at 2 p.m. Sunday. All members are welcome.

WVNA holds annual Christmas party

Whittington Valley Neighborhood Association’s 2016 Christmas Potluck Party will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, 213 Whittington Ave. Attendees and guests are asked to bring a dish to share with fellow neighbors. The association will provide soda, coffee and water.

Members in attendance will be entered into a drawing for door prizes. Members and valley residents are welcome to attend. For more information, call President Mark Toth at 623-4283.
