Fountain Lake board plans to meet Monday

FOUNTAIN LAKE — The Fountain Lake School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday at 5 p.m. in the board room of the administration building, 4207 Park Ave.

Blood drives planned throughout coming week

Arkansas Blood Institute will conduct blood drives at the following locations and times during the week:

• Today — 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., First Lutheran Church Family Life Center, 105 Village Road at Lakeshore Drive.

• Monday — 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Danfoss, Arkadelphia.

• Tuesday — 9-11:30 a.m., Bank of the Ozarks, 4404 Central Ave.; 1:30-4 p.m., Arvest Bank, 4570 Central Ave.

• Wednesday — 1-5:30 p.m., Ouachita Schools, Donaldson.

• Thursday — 2-6 p.m., Hot Springs Elks Lodge No. 380, Lodge Room, 132 Abbott Place.

• Saturday — 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bloodmobile at Wal-Mart, 4019 Central Ave.

All donors receive a longsleeved holiday T-shirt, Donor Reward Points, free health screening, refreshments and learn their blood type. All blood donations support the two local acute-care hospitals. Donating takes about 45 minutes.

Donors must be at least 16 years old and have a photo ID. For an appointment or more information, call Bob Woodall at 501-282-6072. Walk-ins are welcome.
