Hot Springs junior boys’ basketball team celebrates the Trojans’ second-straight 5A-South district championship Thursday night in Hope after a 51-38 overtime victory over Magnolia. The Trojans finished with a 24-3 record, winning the regular-season conference title and Lake Hamilton’s Kameron Hale Invitational championship. Santiair Thomas had 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Trojans in the championship game. Deante Sanders added nine points and Latrell Ellis, Jadyn Walder and Caleb Hughley six each for Hot Springs, which outscored Magnolia 17-4 in overtime.
