ROYAL SURPRISE
Susan Harper, center, reacts as she is named queen during the fourth annual Mystic Krewe of Liberi Ball held Saturday in the Hamp Williams Building. This year’s king was Scott Smith and the honorary chairs were David and Rachel Mangan. The fundraising event is held to support Ouachita Children’s Center, and guests were treated to a Mardi Gras dinner catered by Bleu Monkey Grill, a King Cake made by Ambrosia Bakery, dancing, a silent auction, roving entertainment including a juggler and mime and palm readings by Madame Zaheera.
