Ouachita Hosta society to meet Saturday
The Ouachita Hosta and Shade Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Garland County Library, 1427 Malvern Ave. Refreshments and social start at 9:30 a.m.
The speaker will be Sabrina Childs, of Ripley, Miss. She started her career in horticulture at Tippah County Growers in Tiplersville, Miss. She works with Ball Seed Co. as a sales representative. She works with greenhouse growers and nurseries to provide them with plant inputs and technical support, and works with extension horticulturists and area nursery and landscape associations on industry trade shows and educational programs.
