A journey into caring

- M.J. Sherer Aging Answers

In June of 2013 when I began my journey with Superior Senior Care at the age of 58, I was a little skeptical to even think I could do this kind of business. It has brought challenges to the table that I would never have been able to handle in my younger years although maybe I could have and just didn’t know it since what working in this industry has taught me is …. with every step we take there is another one in front of it and in order to keep going we have to put one foot in front of the other and be ever so grateful for the day we have been given.

Superior Senior Care has taught me that our loved ones can be taken care of, not only by family members, but by professionally trained caregivers as well which leaves the family members to be able to enjoy the company of their loved ones.

I have learned that fathers don’t want their daughters taking care of them in their elderly years and that mothers don’t want their sons being their caretakers either. It changes the relationship between parents and children when we take on that role so before you decide you want to do that look at all your options and weigh them heavily.

I hope you never need us, but Superior Senior Care is here to help you with all your needs so please feel free to give us a call with any questions you might have. We can help do the daily things for your loved ones so that you might continue to work and take care of your own family and needs knowing that your loved one is in good hands. … Just keep putting one foot in front of the other!
