HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — With spring blooming taking place all around, residents won’t want to miss out on the opportunity to stock up on beautiful geraniums being sold by the PEO Chapter DC, Hot Springs Village.
Members of the Philanthropic Educational Organization will be selling plants for its 11th annual fundraiser on two dates. The first sale will begin at 10 a.m. April 13 in the Village United Methodist Church parking lot, 200 Carmona Road. The second sale will be at 10 a.m. April 20 in the Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church parking, 700 Balearic Road.
Every year, the geraniums sell out quickly, so plant lovers should arrive early. Many colors and varieties of geraniums will be available, and the price is $8.50.
The PEO always receives great reviews regarding the lushness and hardiness of the plants and has many repeat customers.
The Philanthropic Educational Organization invests in the future of women enabling themselves to further their education, support their families and enrich their lives. It’s an organization where women celebrate the advancement of other women, educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans and stewardship of Cottey College, and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations.
Chapter DC has been appreciative of the community’s support during its previous major fundraising endeavors, which enable the chapter to assist ambitious and deserving women locally.
