HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Sandra White Celestin, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., formerly of St. Francisvil­le and Baton Rouge, La., passed away Monday, March

27, 2017.

She was born June 20, 1944, to the late Joseph Wesley White and Mary Louise Bergeron White.

She is survived by her son, Dean and daughter-in-law, April; three grandchild­ren, Matthew, Ansley and Laney-Claire; and four sisters, Dolores Duczer, of Summit, Miss., Karen Spencer, of Beaumont, Texas, Trudy Spillman and husband Mark, of St. Francisvil­le, La., and Gail Chastant and husband, Lee, of Zachary, La.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Danny Celestin. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Hot Springs Village, Ark. Sandra was a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved to garden, cook, golf, read and spend time with her grandchild­ren. Sandy retired after 30 years from Brand Scaffold Service as an accountant. She later moved to Hot Springs Village, Ark., as a proprietor of Danny at Ponce Restaurant for 10 years.

Visiting hours took place from

5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory,

11817 Jefferson Highway. Visiting hours will resume beginning at 10 a.m. today, March 31, 2017, until a memorial service at 11 a.m. There will be a memorial service in Hot Springs Village, Ark., at a later date.
