According to the affidavit, Garland County sheriff’s deputies responded to McDonald’s, 3101 Albert Pike Road, in reference to a suspicious vehicle occupied by two people who were passed out. Deputy Clayton Green noted that a male, identified as Lewis, was behind the wheel, and a female, identified as Taber, was in the front passenger seat.

LifeNet arrived on scene to check both of the occupants and deputies noted Lewis had slurred, soft speech, was unsteady on his feet and had dilated pupils. Asked if he had done any drugs, Lewis allegedly admitted he had smoked marijuana earlier.

A small bag of marijuana, approximately 2.2 grams, a marijuana pipe, five cut straws, a bent spoon, a set of digital scales, an alprazolam pill, syringes (some used) and a glass meth pipe were allegedly found inside the vehicle.

Also located in the vehicle was a brown leather wallet containing an Arkansas driver’s license, four blank checks, a debit card and five Social Security cards, all listed in names other than Taber or Lewis.

A check determined one Social Security card and the blank checks had been reported stolen in a previous burglary.

Road address, was taken into custody at approximately 1:25 a.m. and charged with two felony counts of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and one count of drug paraphernalia, punishable by up to six years in prison, and a misdemeanor count of possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, punishable by up to one year in jail.

Davis was being held on $8,500 bond and is set to appear April 24 in district court.

According to the affidavit, GCSD Deputy Justin Parker initiated a traffic stop on a white Hyundai Elantra with a defective left headlight traveling west on Amity Road. The license plates returned to a Chevrolet Prism.

Parker noted the driver, identified as Davis, had a large knife beneath her right leg. He asked if there was anything else in the vehicle he should know about and Davis allegedly said, “You’ll probably find a little speed, it’s in my purse.”

Parker checked her purse and allegedly found five hydrocodone pills, 10 klonopin pills, five cyclobenzaprine pills, 0.6 gram of crystal meth and a digital scale with crystal meth residue on its cover.
