Brenda “Brendy” Edwards, age 64, of Hot Springs, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017.

She was born on Sept. 30,

1952, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Henry “H.C.” Tucker and Lois Grant Tucker. On Dec. 19,

1987, she married Bob Edwards. She was preceded in death by her father; and one brother, Artie Tucker.

Brenda was Methodist in her faith. She spent most of her time working alongside Bob, at their businesses, Scott Specialty and Edwards Sign Company, which they owned and operated for over 40 years. She loved working with her flowers and plants in her yard and her green house and enjoyed floating and fishing on local rivers. She enjoyed traveling throughout her life with Bob. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Bob Edwards, of Hot Springs; her mother, Lois Tucker, of Hot Springs; her son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Amber Scott, of Hot Springs; her stepson, Christophe­r Edwards, of Nashville, Tenn.; her brother, Fred Tucker, of Stafford, Va.; nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2017, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home chapel, Hot Springs.

Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from

6-8 p.m. today. Pallbearer­s will be Matt Osborn, Andy Still, Dana Grubb, Steve Zook, Jason Greene and Derick Walker.

Honorary pallbearer­s will be Bill Smith, Carl Bright, Jerry Cochran and Chuck Smith.
