Blessing named Right at Home Caregiver of the Year
Congratulations to Katie Blessing, the 2017 Caregiver of the Year for Right at Home of Central Arkansas! She is one of Right at Home’s five-star caregivers and a real favorite among their clients. Blessing began her career with Right at Home in March of 2015.
Blessing lived most of her life in Ohio, where she managed a teacher’s store and worked for Chase Bank in customer service.
A couple of years ago, she suffered a stroke and then after recovering, re-evaluated her career and made the move to Arkansas to pursue her CNA license by taking courses at Schmieding Home Caregiver Training Institute. Soon after that, Blessing joined Right at Home. She lives in a small house on 18 acres in Oden.
She enjoys reading, gardening and cooking for family and friends. Blessing has two grown and married children, Cody and Emma.
A current client of Blessing’s described her in the press release, “Katie is a great caregiver. She is simply wonderful.” Blessing serves Right at Home well. She takes every shift offered, then provides outstanding care. Located outside the west gate of Hot Springs Village, Right at Home of Central Arkansas serves the Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village and Benton areas. It has been in business for three and a half years and has earned an outstanding reputation. They were recently honored with the 2017 Best of Home Care, “Leader in Excellence” award by Home Care Pulse. They are the only company in the state of Arkansas to receive this distinguished award.
Right at Home is located at 3901 N. Highway 7, Suite B, Hot Springs Village, AR 71909. The office is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and the phone is answered 24 hours a day by staff.
Its services include in-home care and assistance, both companionship and personal care.
Owners are Jimmy and Valerie Cadenhead. Helping with operations are care managers Cynthia Tolleson and Sheila Pier, staffing coordinator Brian Workman and marketer Dave Johnston.
