Dierksen Hospice Senior Day set for Friday at Family Park

Make plans now to come to Dierksen Hospice Senior Day Friday at Family Park, in Hot Springs. May is older Americans Month — so let’s celebrate.

“It is kind of a big deal,” says Mandie Vaughn, program director for Dierksen Hospice in Garland County, in the press release. “Senior Day begins at 10:30 that Friday morning with a salute to our country, our flag, our country’s armed services and our veterans. There will be exceptiona­l entertainm­ent, including the Fun City Chorus and The Crystal Chimes; plus a live bird show. Bring a friend … spend the day in the park while you visit over 30 partner exhibits where you can find informatio­n about services in our community before you need them. Have lunch with us and go fishing, play bingo and lots of other games. Our partners will host carnival-style games where guests play to win prizes. After lunch, there will be door prize giveaways at Senior Day.”

Senior Day, hosted by Dierksen Hospice and the partners, has made a positive impact on life and living it well for four years now. This year the partners include:
