Billy Joe Michael Crumpton, infant, of Hot Springs, passed away April 25, 2017.

An angel in the Book of Life wrote down our child’s birth and whispered as he closed the book; “Too beautiful for earth.” Billy Joe, born nearly 17 weeks early, weighing one pound, two ounces, was able to receive the Lord’s word and be baptized in the Lord’s name before his brief stay on this earth ended. He embodied the love and faith of his parents, and his struggle for life was powered by prayers by all who surrounded them.

Billy Joe was preceded in death by his great-great-greatgrand­mother, Billie Rose Nickleson; great-grandfathe­r, Billy Joe Crumpton, great-great-grandparen­ts, Mamaw and Papaw Watson; grandfathe­r, Michael Richard Crumpton; great-grandparen­ts, Robert and Ruth Brown Tebbins Jensen; and twin brothers and sister.

Survivors include parents, Curtis and Genevieve Crumpton; brother, Evan Zane Gray; grandmothe­rs, Nellie Crumpton, Angela Curtis Crumpton, Donna Reed; grandfathe­rs, David Richardson, Perry Presswood, Joe Payton Watson; grandparen­ts, Dan and Rose Mary Parks; uncle, David Rich Richardson; aunts, Michelle Wyles (John), Myra Jones (William); great-uncle and aunt, Mark and Lora Crumpton; and great-great-aunt, Genevieve Hurst.

A funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Tuesday at Caruth Village Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Robbins Cemetery.
