Russell Ault, 72, of Hot Springs, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, April 28, 2017.

He was born Jan. 7, 1945, in Jessievill­e, to Arace R. and Madie Clyde (Harper) Ault.

Russell was a member of Glazier Peau Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a teacher and deacon for 30 years. Church always came first in Russell’s life. He had a passion for serving others and would always do whatever needed to be done. Russell was an avid deer hunter and fisherman.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Stephen Ault, David Ault, Robert Ault, Preston Ault; and sisters-in-law, Reba Ault and Brenda Ault.

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Betty Ault, of Hot Springs; son, Adam Ault, of Little Rock; daughter, Subrena Morris (Michael), of Morrilton; brothers, E.J. Ault, Darrell Ault (Mary Etta), Phillip Ault, all of Jessievill­e, Daniel Ault, of Bismarck; sisters, Phyllis Clark (Tommy), of Magnet Cove; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Ault, of Paron, Linda Ault, of Jessievill­e; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of friends who loved him dearly.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Caruth Village Funeral Home.

A celebratio­n of Russell’s life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Glazier Peau Missionary Baptist Church, with Brother Bill Butcher, Brother Sam Ault and Brother Phillip Whiley officiatin­g.

Burial will follow at Newkirk Cemetery in Jessievill­e.

Pallbearer­s include Anthony Ault, Greg Ault, Larry Ault, Justin Whiley, Jeremy Whiley, Tony Gaston, Brad Whiley, Ronny Scott, Kenny Whiley, David Whiley and Steve Bliefus.

Honorary pallbearer­s are Ray Donaldson, David Easley, Georgetta Yates, Jamie Lavendar, Larry Collier, Phillip Whiley, Entergy Employees and Retirees and Joyce Ingle.
