Antonio L. Nellum II

Antonio La’shwyne Nellum II, age 17, of Hot Springs, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017.

He was born July 27, 1999, in Peoria, Ill., to Antonio L. Nellum Sr. and Tina Barber Nellum.

He attended Lake Hamilton High School and received his diploma from the Ouachita Job Corps. He was employed with Taco Bell. He attended LakePointe and Trinity Church.

Antonio loved his family and friends and playing basketball.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ernest Lee Barber; his grandmother, Brenette Nellum Jackson.

He is survived by his mother, Tina Nellum, of Hot Springs; his father, Antonio L. Nellum Sr., of Peoria, Ill.; his grandmother, Martha Barber; and his siblings, Ashley Barber and Alexsus Nellum, all of Hot Springs, Arron Barber-Stephens, of Burbanks, Calif., Cameran Nellum and Taryn Nellum, of Peoria, Ill.; niece and nephew, Arial and Eleazar Barber-Stephens; a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017, at First Lutheran Church, 105 Village Road, with Pastor Amos Gray officiating.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2017, at the funeral home.
