Daylily Society program on Arkansas butterflie­s

Hot Springs Daylily Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Christian

Life Center, 218

Pratt St. The program will be “Arkansas Butterflie­s and their

Host Plants” by

Lin Johnson.

Johnson became a Master Gardener in

2008 and was president of Garland County Master Gardeners in 2012-2013. She is past president of the Ouachita Hosta & Shade Plant Society and president of the Hot Springs Daylily Society.

HSV Audubon addressed by photograph­y couple

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Award-winning photograph­ers Vic and Sharon Prislipsky will present “Wildflower­s and Other Gifts of Nature” at the HSV Audubon meeting at 10 a.m. Friday in the Coronado Center Auditorium.

This meeting marks last call for the book silent auction. Over

150 books about birds, plants and bugs were donated by Brian Baldwin, naturalist, and will go to the highest bidder.
