Two Garland County trial court administrators awarded for excellence
The trial court administrators for two of Garland County’s circuit court judges were recently honored with the Award of Excellence for Outstanding Service, two of only four in Arkansas to receive the distinction.
Sherri Daniels, trial court administrator for Division 1 Circuit Judge John Homer Wright, and Sarah Beaty, trial court administrator for Division 2 Circuit Judge Wade Naramore, received the awards during the annual Arkansas Trial Court Administrators Association Conference on May 18-19 in Little Rock.
There are 122 TCAs statewide and all eligible candidates for the award are nominated by either a fellow TCA, a judge or attorney, a news release said.
To be eligible, participants must be a member in good standing, as well as a member for at least five consecutive years immediately preceding the competition. Each nominee is judged based upon the following: job related skills and experience, service to the ATCAA, comments on what being a TCA means to the candidate, appearance, personality and communication skills. Extra points are given to TCAs who have completed the Court Management Program, turned in monthly time sheets in a timely manner and who have attended the annual meetings for at least four of the last five years.
Daniels has been the TCA for Wright for nine years, serves on the Professional Development Committee for the Arkansas Association of Court
