HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — John Killough, age 66, of Hot Springs Village, died Thursday, May 25, 2017.

He was born on July 23, 1950, in Hot Springs, the son of John Killough and Lacie Briensfiel­d Killough. On June 13, 1980, he married Carole Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his parents; one great-granddaugh­ter, Maliah Burton; and one brother, Gale Killough.

John was a member of Bismarck Pentecosta­l Church. He grew up in Marshall and graduated high school in Vacaville, Calif. John was a United States

Marine Corp veteran and served during Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Carole Killough, of Hot Springs Village; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Mechelle Burton and Kirk and Londa Burton, all of Hot Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Talena and Michael Smith, of Hot Springs; seven grandchild­ren, Matthew Burton, Kambri and Dylan Horton, Kathryn and Thomas Lemons, Elizabeth McDonald, John Burton, Benjamin and Serena McDonald and Jeremiah Smith; four great-grandchild­ren, Kaleb Burton, Jaycee Burton, Rosalynn Horton and Hynley Horton; four brothers and one sister-in-law, Tracy and Teresa Killough of Wickenburg, Arizona, Dan Killough of Sacramento, Calif., Jimmy Dale Killough of Hot Springs and Warren Blount of Harder Heights, Texas; two sisters, Quondalia Cameron of Redding, Calif. and Sandra Scarlett of Western Grove; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Brother Van Glidewell officiatin­g.

Military honors will be provided by the United States Marine Corp and the Thaddeus H. Caraway, V.F.W. Post # 2278 Honor Guard.
