Jose’s Mexican Grill
More than 13 years of serving quality Mexican food
This year, Jose’s will celebrate their 13th anniversary operating in Hot Springs.
The Soto family and staff from Jose’s would like to thank Garland County and the surrounding areas for their support over the last 13 years.
Jose and Veronica Soto have lived in Hot Springs since 1989. They met back in their hometown of Parral Chihuahua, Mexico, and got married in Hot Springs in 1991. Their children were born here as well, Jose Jr., Anna Marie and twins Benjamin and Isabella. Now Jose Jr. and Anna Marie work at the restaurant to learn and help in their family business.
Jose and Veronica have been in the restaurant business since they moved here. Juan (Veronica’s brother), opened Casa Chiquita on Malvern Avenue back in the 1990s, then moved to Hope, where he opened Amigo Juan. Now the family has Amigo Juan in Texarkana, New Boston and Atlanta, Texas.
Jose’s has two locations to better serve their customers. The hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Happy hour is from 2 to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday (beer and margaritas special.) Make sure to try the Jose’s margarita.
Jose’s has daily lunch specials, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Jose’s only uses family recipes. Veronica’s mom comes to each restaurant and mixes spices and condiments that make everything taste the same every time an order is made. Consistency is what Jose’s is trying to offer their customers on every single visit.
