Palmer Hearing Laboratory
45 years of combined experience
C.O. Palmer graduated with his Masters in Science from Philips University in Enid, Okla., and has been a practicing audiologist since 1977.
Prior to working in private practice, Palmer worked for Hot Springs Otolaryngology in Hot Springs for 14 years and Cullman Otolaryngology in Cullman, Ala., for four years. After returning to Hot Springs from Alabama, he took over a private hearing aid practice called Statco Hearing Laboratory in 1993. He eventually purchased the practice and changed the name to Palmer Hearing Laboratory.
Dr. Clare Beaty was drawn to this field after growing up watching her father, C.O. Palmer, work as an audiologist. After graduating from The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Beaty received her doctor of audiology degree from University in Beaumont, Texas. She completed four years of graduate supervised clinical experience and completed her fourth year externship at Arkansas Otolaryngology Center in Little Rock. Beaty joined the practice with her father in October 2009.
Palmer and Beaty hold certification from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensure through ABESPA. They are both members of ASHA, Arkansas Speech-Language and Hearing Association as well as the Arkansas Academy of Audiology.
Palmer and Beaty, as well as their staff, strive to serve the hearing needs of Hot Springs and its surrounding areas. Their endeavor to keep abreast of the latest technologies ensures that their patients have the best opportunities to hear and communicate in the environments they have the most difficulty.
Palmer Hearing Laboratory is proud to work with patients who have hearing aid benefits through their insurance providers and will assist those patients in filing for those benefits. Palmer Hearing Laboratory is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and by appointment on Saturday.
Palmer Hearing Laboratory is located in the Hot Springs Mall in the main entrance between J.C. Penney and Dillards.
