Volunteers are priceless

-

Volunteers are the lifeblood of organizations such as ours.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of how those in crisis are served. Their hugs, their helping hands, their warm hearts and listening ears spread the love we all feel. The qualities of being a good volunteer are worldwide.

Volunteers are reliable — they sign up willingly, come many times, and smile at everyone they see. In a place where literally hundreds of services are offered each day, they ensure that each and every person is helped just by their presence. They make it high on their list of important things to do and we can trust they will be there.

Volunteers are compassionate. When people come to our facility, they are in emotional and physical stress. They need a kind heart, open minded compassion, and sometimes forgiveness. Being that someone not only helps the person in need, but blesses you as the giver, as well!

Volunteers are talented and they don’t mind sharing those talents. Volunteers come from all walks of life, from professionals in all professions to homemakers with years of loving experience in helping others to young children doing their part. Each has talents to share, advice to give, and blessings to bestow on those seeking them.

Volunteers are priceless, without them we couldn’t reach the numbers of people we serve. Over 10,000 open charts serving more than 25,000 people depend on us and most importantly the volunteers. Be part of something. All ages can help. All ages need help. Call 501-623-4048 to help.
