HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Jerald Lane Butler, 82, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., died Monday, May 29, 2017.

Jerry was born Oct. 22, 1934, in Milan, Tenn., to the late Ira Sebren Butler and Ruby Holcomb Morgan. He was a graduate of Memphis State University and a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Jerry worked for Kraft, and retired after 35 years of employment. He was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, where he served as a Senior Warden and Junior Warden and was chairman of the Memorial Committee. Jerry served as a past chairman of the Hot Springs Village Recreation Committee, where he and Jackie have lived for the past 24 years. He assisted his wife with her business, Jackie Butler Estate Sales.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Butler; children Mary Lane Campbell (Casey), J. Devereaux Butler (Susan), Graham S. Butler (Florentina); grandchild­ren Mary Emma Campbell, Robert Butler, Samuel Campbell, William Butler, Myatt Butler and Hardy Butler; stepchildr­en, Jennifer Phillips (Gene), Jeff Rogers (Tina); and stepgrandc­hildren, Bridges Phillips, Mary Kathryn Phillips, Olivia Phillips, Caroline Rogers, Matthew Rogers, Jack Rogers; and a brother, Jim Butler.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 199 Barcelona Road.
